Oldsmobile 442
Mostly original "barn find" "barely molested" with patina 1969 442. This car all original except for a serious drive train upgrade! The original tired 400 and automatic were removed and put into storage. In its place is a built 455 with Edelbrock aluminum heads and intake, Muncie Supercase 4 speed, posi 3.55 Chevy 12 bolt with Moser axles and W-32 outside air scoops. It still sports it's original silver/red paint and red interior. It is a two tone not a vinyl top. I like to call this tough looking car "galvanized grey with crime scene red stripes" :) It does have rust in the typical places but nothing challenging for a restoration candidate. The dash is excellent and has been upgraded to factory tick-tock-tach and gauges. The interior is far from perfect but is very clean and comfortable. Naturally the original bucket seat vinyl would be expired after 50 years (rear seat is great) so sheep skin covers were fitted for comfort. This car great to have a lot of fun without worrying about about treating it like furniture. Or if you want to restore it this would be an excellent base to start from. Asking price is $15k which would about cover the new drive train but offers are welcome. Come drive the car and you will appreciate it.
