We’re sorry but while this car may still be available, this ad had expired.

Fuel injected, LS swapped, supercharged, with heavy duty overdrive transmission equipped Musclecar! Look at the pictures and the parts; you know I've spent way more to build then the asking price. North of $35k, not counting labor. Car is mean! Makes instant power, crazy powerful. Hard not to smile when you hear the motor, it's killer. The only reason I'm selling it is to start another project
$20,900 OBO/trades/Trades plus cash/ multiple vehicle trades/???

http://youtu.be/Qn6910R4yro Exterior

Engine:
LSX 5.3L from a 2004 SSR (very rare car), 28K miles
All aluminum engine, block included, 60lbs lighter than the cast iron blocks
Holley LS swap oil pan, pickup, etc. ($450)
Crane custom camshaft, 220/228 @0.050, 0.551" lift
New Hardened pushrods
New upgraded springs
Supercharger:
New Paxton Novi-2000
Procharger Racing by-pass, whoosh sound is awesome with this blower!
Wastegate installed to limit boost, currently setup at 7psi (will run 11.50's in the quarter with safe tune and 7psi, no reason to increase in my opinion, but the option is there.)
EFI:
Holley HP EFI with LS1 harness, fully adjustable timing and fuel, works off a wideband O2 sensor, and self learns, 2 bar MAP sensor, controls the fan and fuel pump etc. This system is awesome!! I would highly recommend it. Laptop programmable, easy software to understand, lots of options.
Fuel:
New fuel tank
McRobb ½" pickup and sending unit
255LPH Walbro inline fuel pump, Pre and post filters
New PTFE lined steel braided fuel lines, supply and return
New 39lbs injectors
Cooling:
Aluminum Radiator, with large two speed fan, no overheating issues, 170 degree thermostat

Body:
Newer Burnt Orange Hot Rod Flatz paint, "Flat" or "Egg shell" Finish is paint, not primer.
New hood and trunk stripes, Vinyl wrap, so they can be removed if desired
Body is very straight, just look at the pictures
No visual signs of rust from the outside, but as a disclaimer it is 42 years old, so rust is bound to be somewhere. I had stopped or repaired known areas, before painting.

Transmission:
4L80E overdrive, with stage-2 Transgo shift kit, wired to shift manually (you shift it, not automatic), not sure on the mileage but feels tight
New, Edge heavy Duty 3000-3500 stall converter, with Lockup (great on the freeway, RPM drops 600 when switched on) Converter was $660 alone
Inline cooler, with thermostatically controlled fan
New Aluminum driveshaft
Exhaust:
Hooker Super Comp LS1 conversion headers with coating ($700 new), 2.5" dual exhaust with crossover, also only a couple years old, sounds great, very subtle
Suspension:
New bushings, new tie-rods, new center-link, new upper and lower ball joints,
New brakes, rotors(front), drums(rear), pads, shoes, brakes cylinders and hardware, new stainless steel flex lines front and back,
New manual master cylinder with adjustable rod,
New front wheel bearings,
Manual steering box with new pitman arm
all done in the last 3,500 miles

Lowering springs,
Rear axle has 3.90 gears, with Locker, it is the Corporate 8.5" rear-end same as would come with a 455 equipped car, strong, also factory bolt-in axle retention (not a crappy 8.2" 10 bolt)
Southside Machine Lower control arms in the rear, lower to upper control arm braces
Front shocks are 90/10 drag; rears are new 50/50, Air bag in driver-side rear spring to help traction

17x8 Front wheels with 245/45r17 tires, 18x9.5" rear wheels new 275/40r18 tires

Interior:
New carpet,
Great performance seats
Aftermarket gauges in dash, have the original cluster too
6 point roll bar with removable harness bar to access the back seat, back seat removed, but included with car and can be easily installed again.
Interior is in great shape, see photos

Manual brakes, manual steering, manual shifting, very visceral car, you drive this car. No frills, but all the thrills!

The above list is only the highlights I could remember off the top of my head, there are so many small parts it would be impossible to list.
