Oldsmobile Cutlass
I've decided to sell my 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass. I've owned this car since 2008 and have a lot of work in it. The car runs and drives great. It truly is a rust free car. All the floors, trunk, and quarters are in great shape.
This Cutlass is a factory bucket seat and console car, factory 4bbl 350ci motor/TH-350 transmission combo car. The car has an HEI ignition system out of a newer Rocket 350 motor. The car has the Aluminum polished W-27 rear end cover and 3.33 gears.
This car was restored in approx. 1996. I've gone back to three out of 4 of the previous owners and have detailed notes on this car. The car was taken off the frame and gone through. At this point it was painted black. The motor was rebuilt at this time. I took pictures of the inside of the motor when I replaced the intake and carb and it's really clean inside.
In the time I've owned some of the things I've done:
-Water Pump
-Starter
-Original Radiator boiled and re-cored in 2011.
-Edelbrock 2711 Intake Manifold and Edelbrock 1405 Carburetor with electric Choke
-Complete front suspension overhaul, Upper/lower Ball-Joints, upper/lower control arm bushings, new drag link and idler arm, new tie rod ends.
-New Sensa-Trac Shocks on all 4 corners
-Installed Factory correct 14" Olds Rally Wheels with brand new tires.
-Oldsmobile Script Valve Covers
-Transmission Flush and service, replaced speedometer housing, gear, and seal as well as the tail shaft seal for good measure.
-Rear end completely drained and refilled, new pinion seal installed.
-New Voltage Regulator in 2012
-Replaced exhaust and Dynomax mufflers.
-Tune up in 2012, replaced all plugs, wires, cap, rotor, everything.
-All hoses and belts were replaced in 2011.
The car is stored inside at all times and I wouldn't hesitate to drive this car anywhere. I frequently take this car to cruise nights and car shows all over and have never had a problem. I've driven this car 500 miles in single day multiple times and have only had to stop for fuel or a bathroom break.
Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions or to set up a time to view the car. I'm only selling the car because I am planning on starting a masters program shortly.
