Fair price for an 85 442?

Those Gbody cars are really starting to grow on me and I'm starting to play with the idea of keeping my eyes open for a silver/gray 1985 442 with t-tops for a fun cruiser. It looks like in the past 6 months or so, people have really spiked up their asking price for those 83-85 gbodies. I wanted to post what you guys thought the fair price for a good driving condition one of these is? Nada I believe puts them at around 5k. The average asking price from this site seems to be around the 8k range. What do you think?

This one at $3,900 was definitely the best deal I've seen posted.
