Sad when great cars are just sitting around for years or have when theowners won't sell because they'll, "restore it one day soon".

So after 60k in restoration it will be a great car. I wish I had the money. I really like these cars. They are my favorite muscle.

Imagine being this guys neighbor and having to look at this car stting there for so long. I moved one time and looked out the back window to see a 69 Torino CobraJet sitting in the weeds. I called my moving friend over and said, "Lookee here." I talked to the owner in the coming days. The car was really clean and needed paint as it was faded but that was it. The guy told me he had just bought it and it was his daily driver! Four speed car to boot. He was a Bentenhausen. Of racing legend. He knew his stuff. I thought I had a live one! Nope.
