Hello,

I just joined today with hopes of acquiring much needed information. I'm part of many car forums, mostly seeking information as to Oldsmobile but delve into other models. Our family has owned some of the finest muscle cars: 57' Chevy Belair, 69 Camaro Rally Sport, 68' Chevy Malibu, 1954 Ford to name some. To acquire information on older vehicles is becoming extremely difficult. We've been to a few car shows as receiving some awards, and trophy's. The current vehicle I have is a 1986 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Brougham, being the lead vehicle in the motorcade at the 100th Anniversary Oldsmobile Birthday Celebration in Lansing, Michigan in 1997. My interest in cars has been waning somewhat even though I just purchased a Dodge Challenger in 2013. The car has only 1300 miles as I purchased new. So, in a sense this is a testament of my decline for the modern age of autos. I do not really care for the Unibody >(Unitbody) but prefer the frame chassis. Irrespective of triviality, I'm seeking some technical information which is growing more relevant by the day, in being harder to acquire. It seems that many have lost interest in cars to the point of being adjoined to any forums, other than the newbees looking for attention. I guess we were all young at one time. Hope to acquire some information here that could assist me.

Nice looking Oldsmobile. Specifically, what information are you looking for first as far as documentation goes?

I posted a thread under Forums under "Electrical" > 'Power Seat Couple Installation' seeking all information regarding the aforesaid. If you can be of any assistance here it would be most appreciated. I sent out numerous requests from East to West seeking any information. I also included a video. Thank you very much for the response. I'll get to your info as soon as I clear up some matters. The only thing i do not care for in this forum is that one "can't cut & paste".

I saw the other post. Hopefully someone can help. You can copy and paste text in this forum using the standard keyboard functions. Highlight the text you want to copy and then hit "Ctrl+C" (Hit and hold Control key and then hit the letter C ). Click where you want to paste it and select Ctrl+V (Hit and hold control then press V).
