I've gone through 5 differentOldsmobiles in 7 years. I knew that 68 was my favorite year and have had 3 of them; my current being a Canadian 1968 Oldsmobile 442. But I'll admit, I think I have a problem... I'm hooked to finding them and the stories that go along with them. I think I'm now on a quest to find a 1970 W-31 Post car (I know, easy right) or a 1972 U-Code. This time I need them to be numbers matching, but in the case of the W31, I'm not horrible concerned with all the W31 specific parts, it just needs documentation.

Each of these have someone come on the market, but had theirissue.

1970 F85 W31

Problem: No documentation, no proof, and A LOT of rust.

1972 U-Code

Judging from these examples, I guess I'm hooked to that blue color as well. Ram air hood is a must. I've never owned an Oldsmobile with one and I feel like they are one of the best looking hoods that has ever been made. Rust is a problem. Any leads, send them this way!

Seriously, what are the chances. The W31 doesn't even get garage space?? Let me know if you are looking to make some room.

But seriously, shoot me a message if you are thinking about parting with that W31.

I think Terry sold it already.

I was in touch with the seller of the W31 in the first post and he was able to check, no two fuel lines. With that being said, there is really just essentially no chance (in my opinion) that that car was a W31. I think one of the previous owners dressed it up and it stuck with the appearance.

I'll just be keeping my eyes open. W car would be cool. 72 W30... 70 W31... who knows what will pop up!
