larger tires/wheels

hey everyone i have a 1972 cutlass supreme convertible i'm restoring.i wanted to switch from a 225/70/14 to a 255/70/15 on factory wheels,would they fit on the front without hitting,the car has new springs on it,thanks for any help.

I'm sure you can easily fit 245/60/15's front and rear without any problems. A good combination also is 245/60/15 front and 275/60/15 rear. Do you run stock wheels? I like the design of torq thrust, foose and ridler that I saw at car|truck wheels - 4wheelonline. These rims have classic styling yet not boring to look at.
