FOR SALE: This beautiful 1968 Oldsmobile Cutlass ï¿½Sï¿½ Holiday Coupe has been outfitted with a Hurst Olds tribute package. This third owner car currently has 97,192 original miles on it, it is a Southern California rust free vehicle, always garaged, and it is not driven in the rain. Whenever I take the car out, I always get many compliments and am asked if itï¿½s the ï¿½real dealï¿½. Here is the opportunity to own a 1968 Hurst Olds tribute for some summer fun!
Some basic information about the car itself. This car is equipped with a beefy 455 c.i. high performance engine which runs very strong. The car has functioning factory air conditioning, power steering, power front disc brakes, and a 442 rear bumper with exhaust cut outs. It also has a rebuilt drive train, high energy camshaft, Edelbrock Performer dual plane aluminum intake manifold, Edelbrock 750 cfm carburetor, headers with 3 inch welded dual exhaust system, and Flowmaster 50 series mufflers. Also, this car has a rebuilt 3-speed automatic transmission, Eaton limited slip rear differential with 3.55 gears, new coil springs, gas shocks, and brakes all around. It also includes new weather stripping, rubber body mount bushings, ball joints, sway bar, and front control arm bushings. The car also has new 15x7 SSII chrome wheels with 4 ï¿½ inch backspacing and new B.F. Goodrich 235/60R15 raised white letter tires. In addition, this car has new headlight housings, hood insulation, window felts, chrome wheel opening moldings, and windshield.
The interior has new black carpet, sound deadener, re-upholstered front and rears seats (with new molded bucket seat piping) as well as the front and rear door panels. Other additions include new sun visors with mounting brackets and vanity mirror on the passenger side, glove box insert, chrome door arm rest plates, rear view mirror, floor mats, front and rear seatbelts, trunk mat, and a Pioneer DEH-X6500BT stereo.
The car retains all of its original sheet metal and was stripped down to the bare metal. The car was then painted in the correct 1968 Hurst Olds color scheme with DuPont base coat / clear coat Peruvian Silver and Ebony Black. The paint and chrome shine like glass and looks great! There are slight bumps over the driverï¿½s side door when the car was painted, but these bumps are not cracking. The car also includes the correct 1968 Hurst Olds red fender wells, dual snorkel air cleaner assembly with chrome cover, outside air induction (OAI) system with bumper scoops, walnut dashboard inserts, authentic looking simulated walnut steering wheel, Hurst Olds dual gate shifter, correct Hurst Olds emblems and applicable decals.
All the new parts are original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and purchased primarily from Year One, Inc. and Fusick Automotive Products, Inc.
This car also includes reference material such as a 1968 Olds Cutlass ownerï¿½s manual, assembly manual, shop manual (Body by Fisher), electrical wiring diagrams and schematics, and shop repair manual. Plus, a poly cotton exterior car cover!
