True 69 olds 442, with 455, 4 bbl qjet, factory 4 speed munci , power steering, tilt wheel and power disc brakes. Factory buckets and console. Good options. Has 3.05 gear in the 10 bolt rear diff. Runs and drives good. Most stuff works to drive on street. Tires are good.
The 455 is casting 396021fa, which I decoded as 76' 455. The cowl tag shows m21 in accessary line. That means 4 speed munci close ratio and the d55 is console. See last photo of the 81 we posted. The only parts missing is the left front fender l shaped trim , 2 rim center caps and radio. Well, the console is there in broken pieces . The chrome top and console door is there to be reused.
Solid car for being from indiana. Really just needs 2 front floor pans and original quarters patched. Looks like fenders had been patched little in corner. The trunk floor is solid. The hole you see to right is where a metal brace broke loose and beat a hole in it. The hood needs replaced. The rest is solid and straight. The trim is nice. Even the side light trim. Doors work well and windows. It will need all the seat stuffing replaced. Grille is cracked in places.
Oh, that fuzz on dash is not scummy grossness. Its from an idiot gluing that fake lambs wool on there. Can you believe it ?
Darn good driver project car and rare 442, 4 speed. Most are automatic.
The true meaning of 442:
4 barrel, 4 speed and dual exhaust.
