1969 Oldsmobile 442 Convertible For Sale

I have owned this car for 37 years. Bought it in high school. It has sat for approximately the last 13 years and needs a restoration. It is a pretty solid car that can be easily restored. Here are some facts about the car.

Exterior:
• Currently painted 1976 Corvette blue, original color is 1969 Oldsmobile Code 51 -- Trophy Blue
• It retains all original body panels and all are in excellent condition. There is some rust on the doors and trunk lid but overall the panels are solid
• The hood is a REPRODUCTION fiberglass W-25 hood, I have the original hood
• All stainless steel trim is original and in excellent condition. The only missing trim is the trim around the front of the hood
• The bumpers are in excellent condition. They were replaced in the 1980s and have some rust on the back, none on the front
• The convertible top needs to be completely replaced. The last time the car was run the convertible top pump worked fine
• All glass is original to the car
• Front grills were replaced in 1980s and are in excellent condition
• Taillights have some pitting and one has a cracked lense

Interior:
• Seats are non-original and need to reupholstered
• Dash is in excellent condition, no cracks
• Original steering wheel, no cracks
• Door panels are OK, some warpage
• Carpets are replacements and need to be replaced again
• Rear seat is original, needs a good cleaning
• There is no center console -- the shifter is a B&M Quicksilver shifter
• The gauges work -- speedometer is off due to a rearend gear ratio change
• Trunk is OK, some surface rust
• The last time this car was run all electrical components worked (headlights, dash lights, turn signals, wipers, etc.)
• There has been some damage due to rodents

Drivetrain:
• The drivetrain is NON original (engine, transmission, rearend)
o Engine is a 1972 Olds 350 4 bbl
o Transmission is a 350 automatic with a shift kit installed
o Rearend is a Chevy posi with 4:11 gears
• Engine needs work, transmission and rearend are fine
• Car was originally a 4 speed. I have all the linkage parts to convert it back to a 4 speed (bellhousing, flywheel, linkage, Z bar, clutch and brake pedals), sorry no 4 speed tranny though
• Radiator was fine when the car was last run

Chassis:
• Frame has some rust but I don't believe it's rusted through in any areas
• Front end was completely rebuilt approximately 15 years ago (new bushings, ball joints, tie rods, idler arm, sway bar bushings, springs may have been replaced, etc.)
• Steering box replaced
• Rear bushings and springs were replaced approx. 15 years ago
• Floor pans appear to be ok, some minor rust
• Has Rally II wheels I believe

Spare parts -- this car is being sold with the following:
• 455 engine -- disassembled but have most parts
• 400 engine -- disassembled but have most parts
• Extra cylinder heads
• 2 spare doors
• Spare trunk lid
• Original hood
• Original bumpers (not in the best of condition)
• Various other engine parts
