Been sitting a long time, needs new owner. Will start but hearing a light knock in motor. I'm only asking 12k for car. No SCAMMERS, I know how you work. CASH only. Don't waste my time please, these cars will never loose value. Great buy for 12k. FIRM on price. Thanks for looking. .W-27 rear end 12 bolt positrac.

The thousand dollar question... is that just a W27 cover or the actual rear end.

rocketscience posted on May 18, 2016, 8:40 am

The housing is rusty so its definitely just the cover.

I want to say I read somewhere that it was hit or miss if your car (even 442s) came with Oldsmobile script on the hood.  I'll see if I can track down where I read that. I think it may have been the case if you didn't have a OAI hood.

Having the Oldsmobile script is correct on a non OAI 442. Also it has the woodgrain on the lower dash which was standard on a 442, optional on an "S" model, but rare.
