We’re sorry but while this car may still be available, this ad had expired.

The Rallye 350 was introduced February 18, 1970 and consisted of option package W-45, which included blackwall tires, a W-25 fiberglass hood, the L74 350 V-8 engine, N34 Custom Sport steering wheel, D35 sport mirrors, FE2 Rallye suspension, N10 dual exhaust and W35 rear deck air spoiler. Oldsmobile built 2,527 copies of the hard top Rallye 350, all with the same color and stripes.
This one was restored approximately 20 years ago with very little use since then. I am the second owner since the restoration.

Paint and Body:
The car was painted during the restoration with the correct Code 51: Sebring Yellow. It was an excellent paint job and is now showing the typical small paint chips. These have been touched up and are visible up close. There are no signs of rust anywhere except the lip of the trunk weather strip seal. This is an easy spot repair. I would consider the paint still an 8/10. The original Rallye 350 decals were removed during restoration and replaced with painted on replicas except for the side Rallye 350 decal. That is why they still look so good. The original fiberglass hood has some what looks like paint bubbles but they are not bubbles. I think this is just what 40 year old fiberglass does over time. You have to be looking for these to notice them since the paint is still good. The trunk pan has never been replaced and is still like new. At some point someone installed a hitch and left two holes but I have put grommets in them. I removed the fuel tank (which is new) to replace the sending until, confirming the perfect underside trunk. If the floor pans were ever replaced they were done professionally. I pulled the carpet back to run speaker wires and the pans look like new also. I always keep the car in the garage and I am sure previous owners have as well. It has not been wet in the year that I have owned it. All of the glass is in great condition as well as the rubber seals.

Engine and Drive Train:
I am sure the engine was rebuilt at some point but I do not have any records of this. It runs great and sounds like it has a mild cam. I replaced the intake and carburetor with new Edelbrock Performers (600 cfm). The original Ram Air unit is still in place and works perfectly. I recently replaced the flapper door vacuum motor. The engine is the original matching numbers, including the #6 high performance heads.
The transmission is not the original TH350. It now has a TH400, which is a stronger transmission. It has a shift kit and shifts strong. It is a blast to drive this car using the Hurst dual gate shifter. The rear end has a posi traction 3.73 with brand new Moser axels. I took it to the shop for new axel seals but they had already ruined the original axels by the time I got it there, better upgrade anyway. New Monroe shocks on front with air shocks on rear.

Interior:
The interior is all original and is in nearly perfect condition. No tears or splits in the seats. They are excellent! The carpet has been replaced at some point and still looks like new. Two holes were drilled in the console wood grain, probably for a tach, and can be easily repaired with new wood grain. The dash pad has a small imperfection on top that I will have to show you to notice. All gauges work but the clock and that can be replaced with new electronic workings. I just had the rear view mirror restored with new silvering. It has the original working map light. The original AM/FM stereo is in place but not working. Installed is a Custom AutoSound Secret Audio System with four new speakers. I used their kick panels with molded speakers and kept the original kick panels. Great sounding stereo and you can\\\\\'t see it.

Other:
I had the original 14 X 7 rally wheels sandblasted and powder coated with matching Sebring yellow paint. They also have brand new center caps and lug nuts. The tires are new BF Goodrich Radial TAs.
I had the air conditioning redone, upgraded to r134a, and it works great! Brand new polished compressor, condenser, drier, evaporator core, hoses and cycle switch.
When I bought the car it came with the chrome/billet aluminum engine accessories, including the AC compressor, power steering pump, brackets, pulleys and alternator. I have the original AC and other brackets and power steering pump if a future owner wants to go back to the original look.
It has an aluminum radiator with an electric fan cooling the AC condenser and a mechanical fan cooling the engine. I will include the original radiator.
New master cylinder and power brake booster. Factory front disc brakes and rear drums.
This is a great car and can be driven reliably anywhere. Trades considered for a 60s to early 70s vintage sports car.
