Oldsmobile 442
The car has 120,880 on the odometer, it was mostly driven on weekends in East Tennessee. It was serviced in 2008, new plugs, fluids etc. was kept parked but ran periodically up until three years ago. No fuel was left in the tank since then, battery needs replacing. A paint & body man examined it and said the paint was in good condition, and a good wax and buffing would bring out a lot of the original shine. No rust in the trunk or floor plans. The car has been garaged most of its life, and Tennesse never salted the roads, not that it was ever driven in icey conditions.
New top in the early 80s. Bench seat with no tears in seats. AM/FM radio. 350 Olds Rocket engine. Auto trans Column shift. Original hubcaps. Sheet metal all good except for a few minor dings. Nothing major or noticeable. I have never put the top down since we got it and my grandmother probably had it down less then a dozen times.
My grand father kept a folder with every trip in for service and I have all those. He always took it to the Olds dealer where he bought it in Jackson, TN. The title is still in his name.
