Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass Convertible. Long-term owner of 12 years bought the car from her uncle, then restored it to a very nice driver standard about 10 years ago. It has been garaged and driven only on nice-weather days since, and maintained here at Motorcar Studio for the last three years.

Paint quality is excellent and in the original color, Viking Blue with silver stripes, and all panels are straight with good gaps. Bumpers, trim, glass, convertible top, etc. are in nice condition. Original floor pans, rockers and frame show minor surface rust and scale, but absolutely no rot.

The interior was restored at the same time the car was painted; carpet, door panels, dash and seat upholstery are in excellent condition. Highly optioned with bucket seats, center console, power top and factory A/C. Power convertible top works as it should. Newer AM/FM/CD stereo with USB and aux input.

Runs and drives better than any GM A-body we've had; recent service in our shop has included a full tune up (with new distributor and ignition module), alternator, battery, a front-end rebuild including new upper and lower ball joints, inner and outer tie rod ends, centerlink and idler arm (plus routine oil changes, of course). Very complete service and restoration records including photos from the last 12 years; we believe that both the engine and transmission were rebuilt about 20,000 miles ago.
