Hood pin stuck

I was hanging out in the garage and was going to check up under the hood for fun, but couldn't get one of the hood pins unlatched. It gets stuck at an angle and from crawling underneath, it looks like the middle horizontal pin portion has shifted that direction making it not fit through the slits in the latch. I tried using a yard stick to shift the pin more but it didn't have enough force. Any ideas?
