Bought this real 442 as a project car for my shop. Oldsmobile 400 engine with automatic transmission. Over the last several years we have replaced: all engine new gaskets and seals, did not remove crank so no new bearings, ignition coil, distributor rotor and cap, throttle return spring, completely rebuilt the carburetor, engine painted and detailed, engine mounts, fuel gauge sending unit, fuel lines, brake lines, front brake calipers, rotors and pads, battery hold down, battery, rebuilt drum brakes in rear with new shoes, brake master cylinder, spark plugs, all filters, thermostat housing, park brake lever, shift cable, oil catch cans, trunk lock, ignition control module, body bushings, radiator support bushings, fan, several electrical relays, wheel cylinders, starter solenoid, proportioning valve, lower ram air scoops, lug nuts, emblems/badges and rebuild alternator. Needs a little body and interior work but we do not have the time now trying to get through customers' cars.

It looks like it has been. There have been a couple black 68 442s floating around so maybe another will pop up. That Black / red combo is real nice!
