1972 Cutlass 442
Ad Description
Green and white two tone, 1972 Cutlass 442. 350 Rocket engine (rebuilt in Nov 16 - only 2,000 miles) - 3 speed automatic transmission. White leather interior with matching seat belt colors. I have added under the dash AC. MSD ignition. Original rims. I have also dropped the gas tank and re ran all fuel lines and replaced the fuel sending unit. Gas tank is clean. Drew Pearson of the Dallas Cowboys, the original 88, signed the car. This is a perfect american classic muscle car. Asking 17,500 but will accept reasonable offer.

Interior is an odd combination of the plain Cutlass door panels and Cutlass S upholstery.
Nice colour combo.

Further more we have a 1970 rear bumper on a 1972, and then we have 442 script on the glove box door which in 72 was cutlass or cutlass supreme and that includes 442 HT or Soft! Also we have a 69-71 wing on a 72. No documents to prove it's a real 442 or W29

Since its a 72 and has the 350, I feel like most Oldsmobile fans will look at this as a Cutlass and decided if the price is worth it in the condition it sits knowing that. Even if it didn't come with the 442 package, I think its a decent deal.

71 was the last year for the true "442" in 72 it was just a package option on a Cutlass S. I just found this out when I bought a 72 Original cutlass S wth the 442 package and factory tilt
