Ad Description
I am selling a 1971 Cutlass Supreme Convertible with roughly $34,000 original miles.

The GOOD:

This is a "survivor car", unmolested or altered in any way, all original with all its factory installed parts and 34,000 original miles. It is a numbers matching car with an Olds 350 Rocket engine. The engine runs and purs like a kitten and the transmission shifts smoothly. The top was replaced about 7 years ago and is in good condition. The seats, door panels, and dash are in immaculate condition and all the gauges are operable. This is a Cutlass with the highly desirable floor shift, sport bucket seats, and an electric convertible top. All the chrome, emblems, and trim are clean and in tact, including the bumpers, grill, and rims.

The BAD:

There is a small area of rust about 5-7 inches in length near the lower rear quarter panels on both sides just above the wheel well. They aren't completely rotten, but definitely need some rust repair. They are salvageable, but if you'd like to replace them, I am including a set of brand new quarter panels (from OPGI) with the purchase. There is also a little rust in the lower fender areas, but its more superficial rather than structural. I personally would replace them, but they're in good enough shape to repair. The factory original paint has a few nicks and scratches in various places, but nothing major.

As you can see in the pictures, other than the issues I've shared, the car is near perfect. I'm asking $11,500 or best offer for this General Motors jewel.. I have a very busy schedule during the week so the car is only available to show on weekends.

Why does it have 72 grilles, wrong valve covers, an EGR valve and a 73 or 74 air cleaner? The air cleaner snorkel and the exhaust shroud are on the wrong side. I would suggest the statement, " unmolested or altered in anyway" is not true.
