need to get a new HOOD 1971

I've had my 1971 cutlass ragtop since it came off the showroom floor in Dec 1970. now I find I need a new W-30 hood.( the one I put on 25 years ago got damaged.) WHO sells the best Quality Glass W-25 HOOD ? I've seen them from $599-$2500. (Original). of course everyone selling them says theirs are the best. I Don't want to order one and get it only to find out it looks like it was done with a chopper gun and the bottom is unfinished, or it won't Fit as it should. Has anyone here had any experience with these aftermarket hood now available ? Thank you

I haven't bought an after market one but everyone will say Thorntons is the best.... but you pay for it. Theirs are over 2k. Other ones can be had for 800, but I've also heard a lot of people complain that they don't fit as well and require a lot of body work to make look good.
