We’re sorry but while this car may still be available, this ad had expired.

Real 1966 442 L69 with Track Pack (W30 Clone). This car has it"s born with Tri-Carb Motor, Close Ratio Muncie Transmission and 3.90 Posi Rear End. This car has undergone a complete mechanical and electrical restoration. Just about every part that can be replaced has been, and the parts that haven't been replaced have been media blasted and repainted.

The Motor has less than 100 miles on it since being built. Bored .30 over, aluminum pistons, rods resized, crank turned and polished, align honed, fully balanced, heads ported (flow the same as Edelbrock out of the box), crossovers filled, custom grind Lunati cam, new Lifters, full Roller Rockers, Melling HV oil pump, the Carbs and Linkage have been replated and restored to original condition, with larger jets installed. Pertronix II Ignition and Coil. Powermaster High Torque Mini Starter and Hooker Ceramic Coated Headers installed along with a 2-1/2" Stainless Exhaust and new mufflers.
The motor runs VERY STRONG! (she will chirp those big tires in every gear)

Ultra Rare Ram Air Induction System with Chromed Shroud (Track Pack) Installed
Battery Mounted in Trunk
Ram Air Bezels in Front Bumper

The close ratio M-21 Transmission has been rebuilt with new synchros, bearings, gaskets and seals. The special Hurst 442 shifter has been rebuilt and the handle rechromed. Flywheel surfaced and new clutch and throw-out bearing.

The 3.90 Limited Slip Differential is tight and quiet, with new gaskets and fluid. Driveshaft detailed with new U-joints.

The Black Bucket Seat Interior has new Legendary Upholstery, and a very nice console. All new door handles inside and out, new window cranks, and new locks throughout (even the console has the correctly keyed operating lock). Deluxe Seat Belts with Retractors, new Grant Steering Wheel with Oldsmobile Horn Button.

All gauges work, including the original clock! A set of aftermarket gauges have been added under the dash for Oil Pressure, Water Temp and Voltage. The odometer reads approx. 27,000 miles, and I can only assume that it has turned over. Has the fairly rare tilt steering column, and the very rare operating Sidewinder Tach. Remote keyless entry has also been installed.

All new suspension parts front and rear: New Springs, Shocks, Bushings, Ball Joints, Idler Arm, Tie Rod Ends, Bearings and Brakes. An upgraded Close Ratio Power Steering Box has been installed to give it that newer car steering feel. Fresh front end alignment.

All new rubber Weatherstripping and insulation (under dash, carpet and hood).

Front Bumper rechromed and looks beautiful. Rear bumper appears to have been rechromed prior to my owning the car, looks very nice.

New OEM Look AM/FM Stereo Radio, along with new speakers front and rear, and a new package tray.

The battery has been relocated to the detailed trunk, that also has a light and vacuum trunk opener. Nice Spare Tire mounted on a matching Outlaw II rim and an operating Bumper Jack.

Brand new Cooper Cobra Tires, mounted on new American Racing Outlaw II Rims.

Front 235/60-15 on 15 x 7 rims
Rear 295/50-15 on 15 x 10 rims

The paint is not perfect, with various small chips, but looks very presentable from 10'. There are a few areas along the bottom of the doors, fenders and the sail panels that have noticeable small bubbles showing in the paint. I have tried to show a representation of them.

This is one of the few remaining original Tri-Carb 442's in existence, and of them, only a handful with the optional OAI System (Track Pack) installed.

This is by no means a complete list of everything that has been done to this car. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have, and to request any additional pics that you may want.
