1971 Oldsmobile 442 Convertible with 88,500 Original Miles
Under value at only $64,900!
Complete older and very well maintained frame off restoration of an original numbers matching 442, with 455 cid V-8, Turbo 400 Hydra-Matic Auto Transmission and a limited slip rear end. This is one of only 1304 convertible 442's produced in 1971 and believed to be the only one special ordered with Flame Orange paint. Factory A.C., power steering, power brakes, power top, sport steering wheel, rally gauges and the original tic-toc tack, make this the ideal Gentleman's Muscle Car. It drives and handles as good as it looks!
It sports a Pearl interior and a black power top and has the original OAI (outside air induction) ram air hood with beautiful black stripes and the original and extremely popular SSII Rally wheels with BFG radial T/A's. The interior, chrome and stainless are as good as it gets and the thunder of the dual exhausts are like music to the ears of any car enthusiast.
The engine, transmission and radiator were completely taken down and rebuilt in July of 2013, representing the first time that they had ever been out of this car in its 42 year life. This car is the REAL DEAL, drives great, and is poised to continue to climb in value for years to come.

Don't let this one slip past you. It is damned close to perfect, but not too perfect to drive every day.
Please give me a call, but only if you are serious. I do not need to sell, but it is time for another toy.

Nice 442 but a shame whoever placed the 442 numbers on the trunk lid was way off with their measurements. That would be expensive to fix. Left pipe way too low. Shouldn't be any issues for that kind of money.
