The 1970 Olds 442 convertible was one terrific muscle car! This example really shows that these cars could compete with the best Detroit had to offer. First of all its a 455 V8, 365HP (only 15 HP less than the W30) and 500 Lb/Ft Torque (the same as the W30). Yes its numbers matching and original to the car. It puts the power to the ground through a Turbo Hydra-matic 400 Automatic transmission, controlled by the famous Hurst His and Hers dual gate shifter. The rear end is the factory "anti spin" posi with a 3.23 gear ratio. It has the Super Stock 1 Wheel package. This monstrous engine breathes through the factory Ram Air, Dual Snorkel Fiberglass Hood.

This car runs and drives great. the engine delivers smooth, powerful acceleration and shows no signs of unusual smoke. The paint finish is brilliant. The floors are solid and rust free. The interior is very nice with no blemishes on the seats and the dash is terrific. The trunk floor is solid, rust free and clean. There is no spare tire or jack. The convertible top presents as new, but the weather strips show age. The car has been very well cared for, maintained and restored as needed.
