I'm hardly seeing any ads for Oldsmobiles under 20k anymore. Is it inflation? Are they just getting harder to find? It almost seems impossible to get into the hobby without having a good chunk of money now.

yes they are ... and in spite of some die hard believers , in another few years when the boomers pass and the X'ers ( all the ones who drove these cars as teenagers ) pass , lots of expensive personal storage space will have to be cleared and the market will adjust . Most of these 25k cars , should be closer to 1/2 of that . This hobby was never about recouping your " Investment " ; With that , i'll be grinning when the speculators take their WELL DESERVED HIT .
