on your site, or just mean "expired"? I don't want to bother ppl that sold their car6 months ago.

Yes and no. Some ads on my site are posted directly by end users. When this is the case, the user has full control to manage when their ad expires. Other ads are data that is pulled down from other external sites. In these cases you will typically see a "web source" link under the title. You can click on this to see if the original ad posted from where the data came from is still available. This is your best case to see if an ad is still active or not. On this site, to protect the privacy of sellers, contact information is set to expire by a default of 2 weeks. So my site might reflect an expired ad, but if you follow the web source link it may display contact information still.
