Oldsmobile 442

1968 Oldsmobile 442 4 speed convertible rare D-1 Sapphire Blue. This automobile as spent most of it's life in Arizona therefore they are no rust issues. I have done a ton a improvements to it such as stainless steel gas and brake lines, new power disc brakes in the front and new brake cylinders in the back, entire exhaust system replaced (Garner exhaust) rebuilt Rochester carburetor (Cliff), new radiator and heater core, front seat completely re-upholstered (i have the materials to do the passengers and rear seats and they are included in the sale), rebuilt transmission (numbers matching), rebuilt 3:23 differential with 9" Ford Posi-traction and W-27 aluminum differential 12 bolt cover (made in the U.S.A.), brand new gas tank, gas tank rubber padding, gas tank gauge sending unit, gas tank metal straps, AM-FM completely solid state with 2 RCA on the back and 4 new speakers 100W, factory original forced air induction with hand made stainless steel grills on the front, as the Tick, Tac Toe but the gas/temperature gauge needs to be installed, rebuilt RPM clock gauge, lighted rear view mirror, electric trunk opener, window rollers were replaced (still need to do drivers but parts are included), new carpet with 2 layers of Dynamat (no heat coming from the engine compartment) new clutch, mostly new front end, new spark plug wires and Platinum spark plugs, new electronic ignition inside the distributor (Pertronix Flame Thrower II). Engine is a factory dealer replacement 455 (no numbers) runs strong but needs rear main seal, oil pan gasket. I have a ton of extra parts that come with the purchase. They are several hand made parts that i made for this automobile (better than factory) such as spark plug wire holders, console latch, etc..... Top is good but needs tightening. It's a real 4 speed 442 (only 1526 made) that just need to be taken to the next step. Not a trailer queen but excellent driver. 14" rally wheels recently painted in the original color (i have the beauty rims but they are not flawless). Absolutely no Chinese parts on this automobile.
