Oldsmobile Cutlass S
For Sale: 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass S asking 25k
When I started this project my life was dramatically different. I just don't have the time anymore to dedicate to properly finishing it and I also don't have the same disposable income I used to. That doesn't mean I am in a big hurry to sell it either.
It's a running and driving car that needs some work to be considered a finished project but it is a high quality start. It's damn near impossible not to enjoy an LS1 powered muscle car with modern suspension and big brakes. Chassis had around 69k miles when I purchased it. Since I've had it and added the LS1 I have put about 2k miles on it.
Mods(I probably forgot some):
RideTech stage II single adjustable coilovers and strong arms
Baer 6piston front brakes w/2 piece rotors, 4 piston rear w/2 piece rotors
New stainless steel brake lines
Wilwood master cylinder and adjustable proportioning valve
Oldsmobile heavy duty rear end with limited slip diff, ratio is a bit high but some gears would easily correct that.
19x9 front and 20x10 rear Rushforth Wheels Nighttrains w Nitto Ionvo rubber 255 front and 285 rear
Acura RSX bucket seats
New Vintage 1969 series gauges in custom panel in the dash
LS1 w GM hotcam, Fast 92 Intake, Fast Big bore throttle body, BRP Muscle Rod shorty headers, runs well a bit lopey at idle, could use a professional tune
T56 6 speed transmission with Keisler forward shift relocator kit(shifter is vague, will need to be addressed, luckily now that the bench is gone the kit can be replaced with stock parts)
Late model LS7 pressure plate, clutch and flywheel combo
4th gen fbody clutch master with custom mounting bracket
BRP Hotrods motor mounts and trans crossmember
Aeromotive Stealth in tank fuel pump/sump conversion
The interior needs some love, I've replaced the door panels and carpets, the RSX seats could use new covers to match the interior but they're not horrible either. Headliner was ripped when I bought it so that's missing. Otherwise it's in pretty amazing shape for a 40+ year old car.
The body is all there, paint is good from 10 feet, but honestly it's a tired re-spray if you're picky. There is some minor rust in the lower parts of the quarter panels, but nothing some patch panels wouldn't fix. In addition there are a few small blisters around the rear window under the vinyl roof, again nothing out of the ordinary for a car this age.
If anyone has questions feel free to ask, I'm open to negotiations but the parts alone are worth more than the asking price.
